Once you’ve purchased the course you will have complete access to the course materials and participation in the office hours with Craig through the online course platform for 6 months from the date of purchase. In addition, many of the course materials which allow you to apply the learnings in each module to your specific practice are formatted for easy downloading so you can retain those for use in your practice at any time. Access to the course videos and office hours are only available on the online platform.
The course contains 14 separate modules each with instructional video and other content such as questionnaires and worksheets. The time to complete each module can vary depending on the complexity of the material in any given module, your interest and involvement in the particular aspect of a business that is covered in a particular module, and your ability to devote focused time to working through the module. In general, the modules are designed to take about an hour to complete, though some will take less time and some may take longer depending on the above factors. How quickly you get through the course with sufficient understanding to begin implementing the ideas from the course in your practice depends on your schedule and the time you have to devote to it. We believe it is reasonable to expect that most practitioners could complete two modules a week on average, which would mean that the course would be completed in approximately two months. Your experience could be very different from that, but we think that would be a reasonable goal to have in mind. As far as implementing teachings in your practice, we hope that you will hear some ideas and insights in the course that you can begin implementing immediately. Other concepts may take longer to implement, particularly if you already have existing branding, infrastructure, and commitments in place that can only be transitioned over time.
Again, emphatically no! While Craig’s first career was indeed as a lawyer, he hasn’t practiced law in many years as he left the practice to focus entirely on a career as a businessperson. All of the teaching in this course is in the nature of business concepts, perspective and advice, not legal advice. The course does discuss some concepts that have both a business dimension and a legal dimension, but any advice or commentary in the course is strictly from the business point of view. If you need advice relative to any legal issues in your practice or otherwise, you should consult an attorney who is licensed in the state in which you have your wellness practice and who has documented expertise in the area of law that is of concern to you.
On the one hand, the general principles of business, and particularly small business, apply almost regardless of what kind of small business you are running. On the other hand, every business is as unique as the owner of the business. Their vision drives what happens in the business. We wanted to make sure that the course is offered at a price point that it is truly affordable for and accessible to the vast majority of alternative wellness practitioners. Accordingly, the course is generalized enough so that the content can be packaged in pre-recorded modules and therefore offered at what we believe is an incredibly affordable price. Craig has been teaching business to non-business people for many years and in many different contexts, and he draws on all of that experience in teaching this particular course. The foundation of this course, however, is a tool that he developed a number of years ago specifically to help alternative wellness practitioners better understand the business end of their practices. The course videos were all designed and recorded specifically to teach this course to alternative wellness practitioners. Finally, even the basic course includes periodic live group sessions with Craig in the form of “office hours” on Zoom which will allow you the opportunity to ask specific questions about the course material. These aren’t designed to provide the kind of detailed focus on your business that a much more expensive one-on-one consulting arrangement would provide, but they do provide an opportunity beyond the packaged course materials to ask questions specific to you and your practice.
Emphatically no! The course was expressly designed to teach business to non-businesspeople. Throughout his career, Craig has worked with small business owners who wanted to do the thing that they are passionate about, and running a business just came with the territory. They don’t do what they do because they wanted to be businesspeople. Alternative wellness practitioners overwhelmingly fall into this category. This course has been specifically designed to help wellness practitioners with little or no background in business to better understand the business end of their practice.
Yes, you will have 7 days from when you first purchase the course to sign on and check out the course materials to satisfy yourself that the course is what you were expecting (and maybe hopefully more than you were expecting). If within that 7-day window, you decide for any reason that it was a mistake to buy the course, send us an email and we will refund your purchase price in full to the credit card you used to buy the course. Of course, if you ask for a refund, you will also lose access to the course materials from that point forward unless you later change your mind and re-purchase the course. After the 7-day period, we have the right to assume that you are satisfied with your decision to buy the course and the sale will be final at that point.
